Privacy policy

DeskLeap doesn't collect any data. What it stores stays on your own devices.

This policy covers DeskLeap for iPad and DeskLeap for Mac, made by Morning Geek Technology Pte. Ltd., Singapore.

No data leaves your devices

  • No accounts.
  • No analytics.
  • No ads.
  • No tracking.
  • No DeskLeap servers.

We don't collect, receive or store any of your data.

A direct connection between your devices

Your iPad connects straight to your own Mac. Nothing passes through us.

  • Every connection is encrypted with TLS 1.3, and each device only trusts the other's pinned certificate.
  • You pair an iPad with a Mac by checking that both screens show the same 6-digit code.

What's stored on your iPad

  • Saved Macs: their names, any custom names you give them, and addresses you type.
  • Screen snapshots: at most one per Mac, of its screen from your last session. They're kept only on the iPad, excluded from backups and protected while the iPad is locked. You can turn snapshots off in Settings, which deletes them.
  • Keys and pairings in the iPad's Keychain. They're not synced to iCloud.

What's stored on your Mac

  • Keys and pairings in your login keychain.

Clipboard sharing

When clipboard sharing is on, it only moves text and images between your own two devices: your Mac and your iPad.
